half inch bulk reel to reel tape supplied on hub and in a 7" storage box. Used.
We have approx 4,000 reels to recycle and use again. Tape make will be unknown but probably, Ampex, Zonal, BASF or Zonal mastering range.
We would have recorded at 3.75 inches per second and a full(ish) reel will have recorded a C90 audio cassette (approx) Picture shows a full reel.
They will all require erasing or simply record over the existing program. There is no guarantee that these will record well for you as they have been stored for quite some time, however they have been stored well and look fine so they could be great...plus amongst these 4000 reels, which are all recorded with full programs for cassette releases, there will be some rare or famous recordings, possibly of some acts before they made it, but they are all random and unlabelled so difficult to tell unless we listen to them all and we still probably wouldn't know, good luck with that, the chances are they will be recorded with a talking book, Bollywood album or a rave mix-tape!
